Receiving and storage
- Check product code, quantity, thickness and batch numbers.
- Inspect the face under even lighting.
- Condition sheets in the workshop as required by current guidance.
- Support sheets correctly and avoid point loads.
- Keep protective film in place until the operation requires removal.
Test bonding saves time
Use offcuts to confirm adhesive colour, working time and the appearance after sanding. Bonding faces must be clean, straight and prepared consistently.
Mark sheet direction and part sequence before cutting, especially for particulate patterns.
Final inspection
- Geometry, diagonals and template compliance.
- Uniform sanding without local overheating.
- Joint quality under frontal and raking light.
- Cut-outs, edges and concealed areas.
- Labelling and protection for transport.
Important: always check processing parameters, permitted loads and care requirements against current Primax documentation and the fabricator's instructions.
