Everyday cleaning

Use a soft damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Work across the whole area rather than polishing one small spot, especially on matt finishes.

Rinse cleaning products thoroughly and wipe the surface dry.

02

Heat, scratches and chemicals

  • Always use a trivet for hot cookware.
  • Use a cutting board rather than cutting on the surface.
  • Do not mix cleaning chemicals.
  • Test any approved specialist product on an inconspicuous area first.

When to call a specialist

Deep scratches, burns, impact damage and visible joints should be inspected by a trained fabricator.

Professional refinishing restores a consistent finish; isolated DIY sanding can create a visible patch.

Important: always check processing parameters, permitted loads and care requirements against current Primax documentation and the fabricator's instructions.
